I have NV installed to my HDD which speeds up every other game I’ve played, made FO3 load in seconds, but the load times in NV are simply horrid. My only real gripe with NV is the load times. There were no real game breaking issues that I’ve run into as of yet, the problems I’ve encountered are small glitches and not bad design. I’ve noticed a lot of small things which I’ll mention in brief. The bad is first, then the good, then more bad, and some good sprinkled in. If I do another writeup of New Vegas it will probably be about the hardcore mode rather than a more complete review. I might write a more complete review when I’m done some time in the next week or two, but being an experienced gamer and a seasoned Fallout 3 player I highly doubt anything will dramatically change between now, ~10hrs playtime lvl15, and when I finish the game. So this isn’t going to be a complete review, it’s more like a first impressions article about the game so far. (Update2)experienced a main quest glitch, post patch have to restart the game.įirst, I haven’t finished New Vegas yet.
